Sam Schneidman

Head of Community at Fishbowl

Sam Schneidman has over 10 years of work experience in the public and private sectors. From 2009 to 2010, they were an intern at Grameen Bank. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Legislative Intern for Rep. Alcee L. Hastings, where they wrote on-the-record press and Congressional Record statements, as well as press releases about important district events and major legislative announcements. Sam also authored a widely circulated op-ed on the ninth anniversary of 9/11. From 2011 to 2012, Sam worked for US Senator Ron Wyden as a Legislative Intern, where they tracked legislation and policy reports relating to trade and finance issues, attended hearings, and composed briefing memos. Sam also helped staff prepare for hearings through source-gathering research and background memos. In 2011, Sam worked as an Associate for Schneidman & Associates International, where they worked with stakeholders to advance an advocacy campaign focusing on key elements of the American trade agenda relevant to American textile companies and sub-Saharan African countries. From 2012 to 2013, Sam was a Field Director for the Australian Labor Party. In 2012, they worked as an Event Coordinator for the Presidential Inaugural Committee, coordinating event operations and logistics for the National Day of Service's program on the National Mall. From 2015 to 2017, Sam was an Account Executive for Yelp and a Community Manager for Countable. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have been the Head of Community for Fishbowl.

Sam Schneidman graduated from The University of the South in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in American/United States Studies/Civilization, having attended from 2006.
