Kristen Allen

Kristen Allen is an experienced educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Fisher College and Worcester State University, as well as the Director of Education at YWCA Rhode Island. With a focus on early childhood education, Kristen has taught undergraduate and graduate courses while also holding positions as a Head Teacher at Lemberg Children's Center and the Goddard School. Kristen has contributed to the Rhode Island Association for the Education of Young Children (RIAEYC) as Personnel Committee Chair and Board Secretary. Prior experience includes managing child nutrition programs at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank and writing a column for the Woonsocket Call. Kristen holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Worcester State University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development, Early Childhood Education from Lesley University.
