Marc Wilson

Professor, Director Of Graduate Psychology Programs at Fisher College

Marc Wilson has a strong background in academic leadership and teaching. Marc has held various roles in different educational institutions. Most recently, they served as a Professor and Director of Graduate Psychology Programs at Fisher College starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were the Academic Director for LC Online at Landmark College from 2021 to 2022. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Southern New Hampshire University, where they served as the Executive Director, overseeing the development of an online master's degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and leading the administration of accreditations. Marc also served as the Asst. Dean for Psychology, providing operational oversight and faculty evaluation. Before that, they were the Chairperson of the Psychology Department at Mount Washington College in 2013 and the Academic Dean at Hesser College from 2010 to 2011. Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated expertise in program development, strategic planning, faculty management, and accreditation compliance.

Marc Wilson earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1981. Marc then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling at Boston College from 1981 to 1983. Marc further pursued their education at Boston College and completed a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from 1984 to 1990.
