Pirel Wastern has a diverse range of work experience. Pirel started their career in 2005 as a Construction Project Manager in the US Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 40. Pirel managed multiple construction projects and supervised a crew of six. Pirel also played a role in enhancing the security and morale of a Forward Operating Base in Afghanistan.

After their military service, Pirel worked as a Laborer for Penhall Company and Penhall Technologies from 2010 to 2012.
