Katala Randell

Katala Randell has a diverse work experience spanning various design roles. Katala currently works as a Senior Design Lead for Global Marketing at Fisher & Paykel Appliances since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Design at Flight Digital from September 2022 to May 2023, and as a Design Lead from August 2021 to September 2022. Before that, Katala worked at Spruik as a Lead Designer from January 2020 to August 2021, and as a Senior Designer from October 2015 to January 2020. Katala also worked as a Creative Consultant at Portfolio Recruitment from April 2015 to October 2015. Furthermore, Katala has experience in education, having worked as a Design Lecturer at Media Design School from October 2012 to April 2015, and as a Graphic Design Tutor from April 2011 to October 2012. Katala started their career as a Digital Designer at Electric Art Advertising from May 2009 to April 2011, and prior to that, they held the position of Graphic Designer at Stella Travel Services from December 2006 to May 2009.

Katala Randell completed their education at various institutions in a chronological order. Katala began their educational journey at Wanganui Girls College in 2001 and graduated in 2005 with a High School degree focusing on NCEA Level 2. In the same year, they attended the ACG YOOBEE School of Design and earned a Diploma of Computer Graphic Design. Katala further pursued their studies at the ACG YOOBEE School of Design from 2005 to 2006, obtaining a Graduate Diploma of Digital Media (Advanced) with a specialization in Graphic Design. Later, in December 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Adult Education from Wintec.
