John Roberts

John Roberts serves as the Director of Safety Training at Fishing Partnership Support Services, leading safety training initiatives for commercial fishermen along the East Coast since September 2022. Prior to this role, John spent a decade with the U.S. Coast Guard in various commanding and operational positions, overseeing complex search and rescue, homeland security, and maritime law enforcement operations. John’s leadership experience spans multiple roles, including Commanding Officer for numerous units, where responsibilities involved workforce management and mission execution. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Excelsior University, and has completed professional development programs focused on organizational leadership at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
