Robert Sheng

Robert Sheng's work experience includes a current position as a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer at Cyderes starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Fishtech Group starting in November 2019. From May 2018 to November 2019, they held the role of Software/Security Engineer at RSSG, where they participated in software architecture design, implemented software applications, and managed continuous integration process and servers.

Before that, Robert worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City starting in January 2012. In this role, they designed and implemented web-based management applications and supported internal auditing using various technologies such as .NET/C#/MVC, Razor, Entity Framework, jQuery, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and Angular. Robert also designed and implemented COM .NET extensions for the Facets claim processing system and supported data processing and data warehouse using IBM Data Stage.

Their earliest work experience was as a Computer System Manager at Kansas State University Recreational Service from April 2009 to January 2012.

Robert Sheng completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Kansas State University from 2006 to 2011. Robert then pursued a Master's in Information Technology with a specialization in Cyber Security at The University of Kansas from 2015 to 2018. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Microsoft MVC 70-486 certification from Microsoft in March 2014, the Security+ certification from CompTIA in September 2017, and is also planning to obtain the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google in May 2023.
