Jessie Z. is a Seafood Sustainability Strategist dedicated to helping companies establish industry-leading sustainable seafood programs. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Ecology and a Master of Science in Ocean Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Previously, Jessie worked as a Project Manager and later a Senior Project Manager at FishWise from 2017 to 2019, along with experience as a Laboratory Technician at the US Geological Survey from 2016 to 2017 and a Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Cruz from 2013 to 2016. Currently, Jessie is a bartender at Mount Baker Theatre.
