Niko Rusanen

Niko Rusanen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Niko started their career as an Industrial Designer at the Architecture office cloud_9 in Barcelona, Spain in 2000. In 2001, they worked as an Industrial Designer at Benefon Oy. From 2003 to 2012, they served as a Project Manager at KONE. In 2011, they co-owned and worked as the CTO of Novocam Medical Innovations Oy. Niko later joined Fiskars Group in 2013, where they held the positions of Project Manager, Manager of Project Management R&D, Manager of Research and Technology Development R&D, and currently serves as the Lead of Design Exploration.

Niko Rusanen holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, which was earned from 1995 to 2001. Niko also obtained a MA degree in Product Designing from Taideteollinen korkeakoulu - Konstindustriella högskolan, completing it from 1999 to 2007. In addition, they attended the Academy on Pop&Jazz in Helsinki from 1992 to 1996, specializing in guitar. Niko Rusanen has also obtained a certification in "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Thinking Machines" from LinkedIn in 2019.
