Xiaoyong Wang is a seasoned expert in automated driving and vehicle controls with extensive experience in leading technical teams and projects across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director of ADAS/Automated Driving at Fisker since March 2021, Xiaoyong previously held the role of Director/Chief Architect for Automated Driving at GAC R&D Center Silicon Valley, where responsibilities included partnering with global teams to develop advanced driving systems featuring 26 customer-focused functionalities. Earlier, at Ford Motor Company, Xiaoyong supervised vehicle controls projects with significant contributions to electrified powertrains, including the launch of several hybrid models, as well as initiating research on automated driving technologies. Xiaoyong holds a PhD in Systems & Control from UCLA and a BS/MEng in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University.
