Karim A. Wazzan

Karim A. Wazzan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Karim is currently working at FISPAN as a Lead Software Developer, a position they have held since March 2023. Before that, they were a Software Developer at FISPAN from April 2021 to March 2023.

Prior to their time at FISPAN, Karim co-founded Looplay in 2019 and served as the Design and Development Team Leader. Karim was responsible for building and integrating mobile and web APIs for video streaming on various platforms. Karim utilized Angular, React, React-Native, Expo, and NodeJS Web Services on AWS and GCP.

As a co-founder and Technical Team Leader at Lifebook from 2016 to 2019, Karim designed and built the backend and frontend of the Lifebook application, which allowed users to order printed photo albums from their mobile uploads.

Before that, as the Founder and Product Team Leader at Smidge from 2015 to 2016, Karim created a mobile application and hardware components that turned regular fridges into "smart" fridges. The app enabled users to monitor quantities and expiry dates of items and generate automatic grocery lists.

Additionally, Karim worked as a Software Development Consultant at Royalens from 2014 to 2016, and as an IT Support Technician at CWLine from 2010 to 2012.

Karim A. Wazzan graduated from the American University of Science and Technology in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
