Stefan Kühn has held a variety of roles in the field of data analytics since 2012. Stefan began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Maths in the Sciences in 2012. Stefan then moved to a Senior Consultant Data Analytics role at codecentric AG in 2014, followed by a Data Scientist role at Zalando adtech lab - Zalando SE in 2017. Stefan then held a Senior Data Scientist role at XING Marketing Solutions GmbH in 2017, before transitioning to a Scientific Advisor role at Sigmai in 2018. In the same year, they also took on a Football Data Scientist role at FC St. Pauli von 1910 e.V. In 2019, they were appointed as Head of Data & Intelligence and Head of Data Science & Data Engineering at TOM TAILOR GROUP. In 2020, they became Head of Data Platform and Product Manager Data at Jimdo, and in 2021 they were named Head of Data at Visual Meta GmbH and Head of Product at Fit Analytics.
Stefan Kühn attended the University of Hamburg from 1999 to 2007, where they earned a Diplom-Mathematiker degree in Mathematische Optimierung. Stefan then attended the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics.
