Ivan Zamarripa

Ivan Zamarripa has worked in the technology industry since 2007. Ivan started their career as an Embedded Systems Software Test Engineer at Global Vantage Design Source, where they tested a Flight Management System written in C++. In 2009, they began working at Texas Instruments as a Software Tester and Test Automation Engineer, where they developed an interface test automation tool using Java's Robot framework. Later that year, they began working at Tata Consultancy Services as a Build Engineer, where they deployed Java applications to Weblogic 10 servers. In 2011, they started working at eBay Enterprise as a DevOps/Build Engineer, where they automated the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment activities of global online shopping sites. In 2016, they began working at Sawyer Effect LLC as a DevOps Engineer, where they scripted the system provisioning playbooks in Ansible. In 2017, they started working at United Technologies as a TechOps Engineer, where they built the CI/CD pipeline for an aerospace-related multi tiered application. In 2020, they began working at DigitalOnUs as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Currently, they are a Senior DevOps Consultant at Bitovi and a Sr. DevOps Software Engineer at Fitbod.

Ivan Zamarripa obtained their Bachelor in Information Technology from Universidad de Guadalajara between 2004 and 2007, specializing in Information Technology, Software Engineering, and Administration. Ivan also obtained three additional certifications: VMware Certified Master Specialist - Cloud Native 2020 from VMware in September 2020, Certified Kubernetes Administrator from CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation] in November 2018, and Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration from Red Hat in February 2020.
