Shawn Pucknell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital media and innovation, serving as the Founding Director of FITC since September 2001. Pucknell has also been a judge for the SXSW Interactive Innovation Awards since January 2004, evaluating submissions across various categories in digital design and technology. As the Director of Interactive for North by Northeast Conferences, Inc. from June 2010 to June 2013, Pucknell managed the NXNE Interactive festival. Other leadership roles include President of the Digital Arts and Technology Association from January 2008 to August 2011 and Director of the Rich Media Institute, co-founded by Pucknell in August 2007, with a focus on educating industry professionals in digital media.
