Muhammed Y. Idris

Muhammed Y. Idris, PhD, serves as Founding Co-Director of the Center of Excellence for the Validation of Digital Health Technologies and Clinical Algorithms at Morehouse School of Medicine since February 2021. In addition to this role, Muhammed holds positions as Assistant Professor and Associate Director for Digital Transformation at the Clinical Research Center at Morehouse. Muhammed is also a Resident at TED Conferences and has been involved with USA for UNHCR as Chair and Advisory Board Member for The Hive, an Innovation Lab. Previous positions include Director of Data, Product, and Technology at PLUS1, Principal and Senior Data Scientist at TeraCrunch, and Global Investment Fellow at Capria, along with a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Concordia University and research roles at Harvard University and BlackRock. Muhammed holds an MA and PhD from Penn State University, a BA from the University of Washington, and received graduate training in Econometrics from Duke University.
