Ben Munguia

Ben Munguia is a seasoned finance and management professional with extensive experience in the public and private sectors. Currently serving as Director and Global Head of the Sports Sector at Fitch Ratings since September 2021, Ben also holds dual roles as Co-Head of North American Sports and Director of Infrastructure & Project Finance. Prior to this, Ben spent over 12 years at the Texas Water Development Board, moving through roles including Credit Manager and Lead Financial Analyst, where responsibilities included overseeing legislative inquiries, managing agency performance measures, and developing social media strategies. Ben's earlier experience includes a role as Social Media Manager at Thunderbird Real Food Bars and internship contributions to Texans for Greg Abbott. Ben holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from the same institution.
