Brian Coulton

Brian Coulton is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Chief Economist at Fitch Ratings since October 2015. Prior to this role, Coulton worked as a Global Emerging Markets Strategist at Legal and General Investment Management from October 2010 to September 2015. Coulton's career at Fitch Ratings began in November 1999, where a tenure as Managing Director lasted until August 2010. Before joining the private sector, Coulton contributed as an Economic Adviser at HM Treasury from May 1988 to September 1999.
