David Prowse

David Prowse is a seasoned finance professional with extensive expertise in credit research and actuarial science. Currently, as a Senior Director at Fitch Ratings since September 2007, David leads the Credit Commentary & Research team, focusing on banks, non-bank lenders, insurers, and asset managers in the EMEA region. David's previous experience includes senior roles at Ernst & Young, Deloitte UK, B&W Deloitte, Bacon & Woodrow, and Britannic Assurance, where responsibilities encompassed regulatory audits, embedded value assessments, and capital solvency reports for various European insurers. David holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, awarded in 1993.
