Wendy Xiaowen Qian

Wendy Xiaowen Qian, CFA, FRM, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Credit Rating Analyst at Fitch Ratings since April 2020, specializing in managing a portfolio of investment-grade and leveraged finance entities in the auto sector, including notable companies like Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz. Prior to this, Wendy held the position of Securitization Valuation Analyst at KPMG Deutschland from November 2018 to March 2020, focusing on the valuation of complex structured products. Wendy began a career in credit risk analysis at Daimler Financial Services from January 2016 to October 2018, where responsibilities included calibration and modeling related to IFRS 9 methodology and risk management. An internship at the United Nations in 2013 provided early exposure to the finance sector.
