Ramona Moubarak

Ramona Moubarak has extensive work experience in the field of country risk analysis and economic research. Ramona is currently working at Fitch Solutions as the Head of MENA Country Risk. Prior to that, they held a position as the Head of Banking And Financial Services at Fitch Solutions.

Before joining Fitch Solutions, Ramona worked at Byblos Bank Group for a significant period of time. Ramona started as an Economic Research Analyst and gradually climbed the ladder to become the Head of Country Risk Analysis Unit. In this role, they successfully built and managed a team of analysts, implemented a new risk assessment system, and collaborated with the risk management division on internal rating models. Ramona also oversaw the production and distribution of weekly publications.

Additionally, Ramona has experience as a Project Manager at Integration Marketing and Communications.

Ramona Moubarak holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Financial Economics from the American University of Beirut, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economic Sciences from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, completing their studies from 2005 to 2008. Ramona obtained their French & Lebanese baccalaureate from Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour between 1998 and 2004, specializing in Mathematics and General Sciences. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Advanced Macroeconomic Analysis and Forecasting in MENA Economies from the Institute of International Finance in 2017 and Macroeconomic Analysis and Forecasting in MENA Economies in 2015.
