Julie Keefe serves as the Curriculum Director for K-12 English Language Arts at Fitchburg Public Schools since August 2021, where responsibilities include collaborating with content directors, co-facilitating the Fitchburg Instructional Coaching program, and supporting literacy interventionists. With an extensive background in education, Julie has held positions such as Senior Visiting Faculty at Worcester State University since 2012, focusing on courses integrating technology into literacy and Universal Design for Learning. Previous roles include Elementary Curriculum Coordinator for Hampden Wilbraham Regional School District, Curriculum, Professional Learning and Technology Liaison for Worcester Public Schools, and various teaching and coaching roles at multiple educational institutions dating back to 1999. Educational qualifications include a Masters of Education in Technology and Education from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts.
