Chip Darius is a seasoned safety and health professional with an extensive background in training and consulting. Since 2000, Chip Darius has provided safety training and OSHA compliance consulting at Safety Priority Consultants, LLC, also serving as an expert witness. An adjunct faculty member at both Keene State College and Fitchburg State University, Chip Darius teaches safety and health courses. Additionally, Chip Darius has held various roles with the American Society of Safety Professionals, including multiple terms on the CT Valley Chapter Board of Directors. As an instructor at the OSHA Training Institute Education Center Region 1, Chip Darius teaches OSHA regulations courses. Chip Darius has contributed to the CT Business & Industry Association as a safety consultant and trainer and is a member of the Curriculum Board and College of Fellows at the National Academies of Emergency Dispatch. In the Cromwell Fire District, Chip Darius serves as Commissioner, Health & Safety Advisor, and previously as an EMT. Chip Darius holds an MA in Communication Sciences and a BS in Human Development from the University of Connecticut.
