Joseph Hitt, Ph.D.

Joseph Hitt, Ph.D. has held a variety of roles in the technology and research fields. In 2010, they were the Director of the Aero-thermo Group and the Mechanical Engineering Research Center at the United States Military Academy. In 2011, they were a Program Manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. From 2014 to 2019, they held various roles at FITT SCIENTIFIC, LLC, beginning as Co-Founder and Board of Directors and later becoming COO. In 2014, they were also the CEO of GOX STUDIO, Inc., developing wearable and robotic technologies. In 2015, they became the Executive Director of the Wearable Robotics Association. Most recently, in 2019, they became the CEO of GoX Labs, a wholly owned subsidiary of GoX Studio, Inc., with a focus on workforce injury prediction enabled by IoT wearables and AI delivered via SaaS platform.

Joseph Hitt, Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Joseph then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University.
