Paul Barrett

Paul Barrett is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the instrument and electrical engineering sector. Currently serving as a Senior Instrument Engineer at Five-D since August 2024, Paul previously worked as a Project Engineer at Contact Energy Ltd and as an Instrument & Electrical Engineer at Todd Energy, where significant project management experience was gained. Prior roles include Instrument & Electrical Project Coordinator at Methanex Corporation, and various engineering positions at JLE Holding Limited, Transfield Worley Limited, Plant and Platform, and ICS Triplex. Paul has a proven track record in managing complex projects from conception to completion, including cost estimation, scheduling, and coordination across multiple disciplines in the energy sector. Paul holds an education from Francis Douglas Memorial College, completed between 1980 and 1983.
