Jenny Barnett

Chief Scientific Officer at Five Lives

Jenny Barnett has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jenny started their career in 2005 as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge. Jenny then worked as a Visiting Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital & The Broad Institute in 2007. In 2008, they became a Scientist, Senior Scientist, and later the Director of Healthcare Innovation at Cambridge Cognition, a position they held until 2016. In the meantime, they also worked as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Associate at Punch Consulting. In 2016, they returned to Cambridge Cognition as the Chief Scientific Officer until April 2022. Later in 2019, they took up the role of Chief Scientific Officer at Five Lives (previously SharpTx). Finally, in the same year, they became the CEO of Monument Therapeutics.

Jenny Barnett completed their MA in Psychology at the University of Oxford from 1999 to 2002. Jenny then pursued further education and received a PhD from the University of Cambridge in the Department of Psychiatry between 2002 and 2005.
