Kaitlyn Lowry is an experienced environmental educator and horticulturist with a focus on community engagement and conservation. Currently serving as Education Coordinator and Community Gardens Coordinator at Five Rivers MetroParks since March 2018, Kaitlyn has previously held positions including Horticulturist at Niagara Falls State Park and Youth and Family Program Assistant at Five Rivers MetroParks through an AmeriCorps program. Early career experiences include roles at Shepherd's Corner Ecology Center, Beech Creek Botanical Gardens, The Holden Arboretum, and Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Kaitlyn holds a degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environmental Education and Conservation, and a minor in Religious Studies from Hiram College.
