Bryan Wilson

Program Director at Five-Star Basketball

Bryan Wilson has had a diverse work experience in the fields of basketball and education. Bryan began their career as a Student Athlete at Bowie State University in 2009. In 2012, they interned at M-NCPPC. From 2013 to 2016, Wilson held several positions, including Head Coach of the Ulster Elks Basketball Club, Professional Basketball Player for the same club, Victory Scholar for Sport Changes Life, and Program Director for Five-Star Basketball. During this time, they supervised and directed basketball clinics and camps in Ireland, competed in the Northern Ireland Premier League, and coached a girls club basketball team. Bryan also developed an "Adopt a School Reading Program" where athletes go to elementary schools to read and mentor students. In 2014, Wilson was hired by Bowie State University as an Associate Head Coach Men's Basketball, Adjunct Professor, and Assistant Coach Men's Basketball. In this role, they prepared scouting reports on upcoming opponents, recruited high school athletes in the Washington Metropolitan Area, and developed player development techniques for individual players.

Bryan Wilson obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Sport Management from Ulster University in 2014, after having obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sport Management from Bowie State University in 2013.
