Mike Mei

Chief Administrator of New York Metro Area Camps at Five-Star Basketball

Mike Mei has held a variety of roles in the education and sports industries since 2007. Mike began their career as an Adjunct Professor at SUNY New Paltz, a position they held until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Assistant Coach / Academic Coordinator and Adjunct Professor at MERCY COLLEGE. During this time, they also held the role of Head Coach (Varsity Girls Basketball) at Bronx High School of Science. In 2011, they added the role of Head Coach (Varsity Girls Fencing) at Baruch College Campus High School to their repertoire. In 2014, they returned to Bronx High School of Science as a Physical Education Teacher and Dean of Students, and they also worked as the Chief Administrator of New York Metro Area Camps for Five-Star Basketball from 2010 to present.

Mike Mei attended Adelphi University from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a Masters of Science in Sport Management. From 2007 to 2009, they attended SUNY New Paltz and earned a Master's degree in Adolescent Education. From 2003 to 2005, they attended SUNY New Paltz again and earned a Master's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters. Lastly, from 2002 to 2005, they attended SUNY New Paltz and earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
