Anwar Ahmad Quraishi

Anwar Ahmad Quraishi has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Sensor Fusion Engineer at Fixposition AG. From 2016 to 2022, they were a PHD Candidate at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). In 2014, they completed an Engineering Internship at Cyberbotics Ltd., where they enabled simulation of human-robot interaction within Webots, the mobile robot simulation software, and provided an immersive user experience with the help of Oculus Rift VR headset. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Polycom, where they were part of the team working on HDX – a line of widely used video-conferencing products. Anwar Ahmad worked on improving the user-friendliness and contributed to the efforts of the team in maintaining software. In 2010, they were elected as the Science and Technology secretary, Student Gymkhana at the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. In this position, they planned budget and activities of various science and technology clubs, and coordinated the organizing of several events in campus.
