Nathan Hazen

Head Football Coach at Flag Star Football

Nathan Hazen has held various leadership roles throughout their work experience. Nathan served as the Student Body President of the JMU Student Government Association, representing the ideals and wishes of the student body to the administration and Board of Visitors. Nathan also held the position of College of Business Academic Senator, advocating for the College of Business within the student government. Additionally, Nathan served as the Student Representative to the Faculty Athletic Advisory Committee, contributing to discussions on the goals of JMU athletics. Nathan has also served as the President of the James Madison University Class of 2024, managing the class budget and representing the class in the student senate.

Outside of their involvement in student government, Nathan has worked as an Equipment Maintenance Assistant at James Madison University, ensuring the optimal performance of the university's recreation center. Nathan has also volunteered as a College Leader for Young Life and has held coaching and refereeing positions at Flag Star Football, where they have had the opportunity to coach and mentor youth teams in the DMV area.

Nathan Hazen started their education journey at Mclean High School in 2016 and completed their high school education at Battlefield High School in 2020, earning a High School Diploma. In 2020, they enrolled at James Madison University and will graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2022, Nathan also had a brief educational experience at the University of Antwerp - Faculty of Business and Economics, where they pursued a concentration in European Business.
