Rebecca Tomes

Rebecca Tomes is a seasoned educator and administrator with extensive experience in various educational settings. Currently serving as a Media Specialist and Lead Teacher at Flagler Schools since August 2022, Tomes has previously contributed as a Teacher at Volusia County School District and Metro Nashville Public Schools, specializing in English as a Second Language and participating on the leadership team as an ESL Representative. Prior to this, Tomes held the role of Executive Director at LaPetite Academy, managing a large staff and overseeing operations for 1200 children. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in English as a Second Language from Trevecca Nazarene University and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Oakland City University.
