Agustin Chicas

Agustin Chicas currently serves as the Head of Discovery at FL94, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Agustin held the role of Director of Biology and Head of Translational Drug Discovery at Monte Rosa Therapeutics from January 2020 to September 2023. A consulting role at Third Rock Ventures was undertaken in early 2019, followed by a tenure as Principal Scientist at FORMA Therapeutics, where leadership was provided for a drug discovery program targeting ovarian cancer. Additional experience includes acting as a Senior Scientist leading drug discovery programs for breast and prostate cancer and serving as a Research Investigator and Lab Head at H3 Biomedicine, focusing on target validation in lung and bladder cancers. Earlier in Agustin's career, postdoctoral research was conducted at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and Universita di Roma "La Sapienza". Agustin completed a PhD in Molecular and Cellular and Developmental Biology at Hunter College, where studies were conducted from 1994 to 2001.
