Elizabeth Pavone

Elizabeth Pavone is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Manager of Content and Science Communications at Flagship Pioneering since January 2022. In this role, Elizabeth develops and executes strategic content to enhance brand awareness and engagement while translating complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences. Prior to this, Elizabeth held various editorial positions at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Senior Editor of CEP Magazine, where Elizabeth curated content on engineering innovations for over 60,000 professionals. Elizabeth also has experience as a Project Engineer at CleanAir Engineering, managing mercury monitoring system installations, and previously completed internships at Westinghouse Electric Company and Roche Pharmaceuticals. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
