Heng Lu

Heng Lu is the Vice President of Strategic Operations and Analytics at Flagship Pioneering, a role held since January 2016, where the business analytics function was built and led, supporting various strategic initiatives across the firm. Previous positions include Senior Director, Director, Associate Director, and Senior Business Analyst at Flagship Pioneering, as well as Senior Strategy and Finance Analyst at Next Step Living, where multiple projects in management and operations were executed. Earlier experience includes a Business Analytics Associate role at ZS Associates, working on diverse projects in sales, marketing, and IT, and an internship at Mercer in the Retirement, Risk, and Finance division. Heng Lu holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Political Science from Brown University, earned in 2012.
