Nick Plugis

Nick Plugis is a seasoned professional in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Senior Principal at Flagship Pioneering since June 2016, where various other titles have included Principal, Senior Associate, Associate, Consultant, and VentureLabs Fellow. As a member of the founding team and Chief Innovation Officer at Cellarity, Plugis contributes to developing groundbreaking medicines that challenge traditional drug discovery methods. Additional advisory roles have included positions with Abiologics and as part of the founding team at companies such as Ampersand Biomedicines and Ring Therapeutics. Prior experience includes leadership at SCIMALS and research roles at Middlebury College and The MGH/HST Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from Stanford University and a BA in Chemistry and Economics from Middlebury College.
