Michael Carbone

Michael Carbone is a seasoned compliance professional currently serving as the Deputy Enterprise Chief Compliance Officer at Flagstar Bank since March 2024. Previously, Michael held the position of Chief Compliance Officer at City National Bank from July 2020 to March 2024. Before that, Michael was the SVP and Director of Compliance for Commercial and Corporate Functions at Citizens Bank from March 2017 to July 2020. Michael's early career includes significant roles at Santander Bank, N.A., where responsibilities encompassed SVP, Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Head of Corporate Compliance, and at Citizens Bank, where Michael served as VP and Regulatory Compliance Manager from February 2007 to April 2011.
