Scott Shepherd

Scott Shepherd serves as the SEVP and President of Commercial Real Estate Banking at Flagstar Bank since April 2024. Previously, Scott held the position of Managing Director at The Ruth Group, Inc., focusing on commercial real estate in Southern California. As Managing Partner at Archbell Capital, LLC, Scott specialized in bridge lending for various property types. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Vice President and Commercial Real Estate Group Head at OneWest Bank, where Scott launched a successful loan originations business, and as Chief Operating Officer at American Assets Investment Management. Scott's career also includes notable roles at Bricoleur Capital Management, Trumpet Partners, and Goldman Sachs & Co. Scott holds an MBA in Finance and Management with Distinction Honors from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
