Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith, PhD, is a seasoned scientist and team leader specializing in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC), currently serving as Senior Director at Leap Therapeutics. With extensive experience in analytical strategy and program advancement, they oversee monoclonal antibody programs and analytical activities at contract research organizations (CROs). Previously, at Janssen R&D LLC, Stephen supervised analytical development for antibody drug conjugates and monoclonal antibodies, and held leadership roles at Momenta Pharmaceuticals, guiding a team through various drug development phases. They hold a Bachelor of Science from Villanova University and are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry at Boston College.
