Niels Divens

Niels Divens is a Research Engineer for motion products at Flanders Make since October 2021, where responsibilities include leading B2B projects on vehicle and machine electrification, executing and valorizing research projects, and managing the MotionS toolbox for model-based design. Simultaneously, Niels has been an Employeneur at TMC since September 2015, contributing to technological innovation through a unique employeneurship model. Previous positions include Test Rig Software Engineer at Punch Powertrain and Systems Engineer at Dana Holding Corporation, where contributions involved electric axle prototype development and drivetrain electrification studies. Niels holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven and participated in an Erasmus exchange at Technische Universität Graz. A period of travel to Asia, Australia, and New Zealand was also undertaken, reflecting a passion for cultural exploration.
