Chris Daniels has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2013, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Sports Leaders UK, leading a cultural change and securing a sponsorship deal with Asda. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as the Head of Partnerships and Communication at Hybrid Air Vehicles Ltd, overseeing global communications and crisis management. In 2018, they became the Chief Commercial Officer at Satavia, where they focused on business development and customer acquisition. In 2019, they joined FlareBright Ltd. as the Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for using machine learning to enhance drone safety and performance. Additionally, they have held advisory and leadership positions at various organizations, including the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences and ARPAS-UK. Chris is currently serving as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at The Royal Society and as the Chair of Strata. Chris is also involved in the drone industry as an Airwards Judge, recognizing positive drone use cases. Between these roles, they have contributed to the growth and success of various organizations through strategic advising, marketing, and business development initiatives.

Chris Daniels attended the University of Oxford from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Mathematics. In 1998, they enrolled at the IESE Business School and completed an MBA in Business Administration in 2000. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2012, they attended Birkbeck, University of London, and achieved a Certificate of Higher Education with a specialization in Applied Psychology.
