Horia Magureanu

Horia Magureanu is a Research Scientist at Flare Network since September 2023, previously completing a DPhil in Mathematics at the University of Oxford from September 2019 to August 2023, with research focused on Supersymmetric Quantum Field Theories and String Theory. Horia also served as a Tutor and Teaching Assistant in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Oxford from September 2019 to March 2023, organizing courses in advanced topics and reporting on student performance. Prior tutoring experience includes one-to-one sessions in maths and physics for GCSE and A-levels with Tutora Ltd from March 2017 to December 2019, and a summer internship at EPFL in 2018, working on cold atoms experiments. Horia's educational background encompasses a Bachelor's degree in Physics, a Master's degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, and a DPhil from the University of Oxford, as well as early academic successes at National College Grigore Moisil.
