Siban Mariano Martin has worked in various roles and companies over the years. Siban Mariano started their career as an Academic Researcher at the National Technological University, where they contributed to a study on best practice patterns in eGov software design. Siban Mariano also co-authored a published article on this topic.
In 2016, Siban became a Co-founder and CTO at Ubicuo, a startup company. In this role, they were responsible for sales meetings, technical support, designing internal processes and user interfaces, and defining business models. Siban Mariano stayed with Ubicuo until 2020.
From 2017 to 2020, Siban worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, specializing as a Scrum Master and developer. Siban Mariano worked on projects at redSupernova, a crowdsourcing platform, and also served as the CTO at Fundacion Relevando Peligros, a Non-Governmental Organization. During this time, they developed a smartCity platform for street power risk management.
Starting in 2018, Siban also took on the role of a Mentor at the Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship Center of the National Technological University. Siban Mariano held this position until 2021.
Most recently, Siban joined Globant in 2020 as a Backend Developer and stayed with the company until 2022. Siban Mariano is currently working as a Software Developer at Flare, starting in December 2022.
Siban Mariano Martin began their education at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a First Certificate in English in the year 2009. Following this, they pursued further studies at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional from 2009 to 2016. During this period, Siban completed a degree in Ingeniería de sistemas, specializing in Ingeniero en Sistemas de Información.
