Senior Vice President of Product at Flash Forest

Chris Ireland has a long and varied work experience. Chris began their career in 2003 as Youth Director at Creekside Church Waterloo. In 2004, they joined Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, where they held various positions including Group Leader - Paint Prep/ED, Group Leader - TPS Development, Group Leader - Assembly, Team Leader - Assembly, Trim Zone, Team Leader - Assembly, Pilot Set-up, Team Member - Permanent, and Team Member - Contract. In 2015, they joined Brose Group as Production Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Raytheon Technologies as Operations Director, Plant Manager, and Production Systems Manager. In 2022, they joined Flash Forest as Senior Vice President of Product.

Chris Ireland has an extensive educational background. Chris began their studies in 2003, obtaining a Bachelor of Theology from Heritage College and Seminary. Chris then continued their studies at Master's College and Seminary, also in Theology. In 2005, they obtained an OMDP Certificate from Conestoga College and in 2008, they obtained a First Aid with CPR - Level C & AED certificate from ACTIVE CANADIAN Emergency Training Inc. In 2011, they obtained a TPS-Standardized Work & Kaizen certificate from Toyota Institute c/o Toyota Motor Corp - HR. In 2012, they completed an Introduction to Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University - Cranfield School of Management, an Introduction to Lean Six Sigma from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Game Theory & Strategic Thinking course from Yale University. Chris also completed a Situational Leadership II Program from The Ken Blanchard Company, a Board Governance Education course from Brown Governance, and a PMP from the Project Management Institute. In 2014, they completed a Governance 101 - Aspiring Toward a Culture of Great Governance course from Dr. Chris Bart - Founder of Directors College. In 2015, they completed a Bachelor of Management (BMgmt) from Athabasca University, majoring in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2020, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Management from Athabasca University and they are currently working towards a Master of Business Administration - MBA with a field of study in Organizational Leadership, also from Athabasca University.
