Innovation and Business Development Manager at Flash Forest

Marc Apduhan, EIT has a diverse work experience. In 2014, they were the Co-President of Engineers Without Borders Canada. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Professional Development Program Assistant at UBC Engineering, Applied Science, and a Chemical Engineering Laboratory Assistant at The University of British Columbia. From 2016 to 2018, they were an Environmental EIT at Hemmera, where they were responsible for Stage 2 and DSI investigations, soil stratigraphy logging, data interpretation and tabulation, and reporting. Marc was also involved in Hemmera-Ausenco's Innovation Strategy as an Innovation Specialist. In 2017, they were the founding Sustainability Venture Lead at Engineers Without Borders UBC. In 2019, they were the CEO and Founder of Renovo Creative Inc., and the CEO, Founder of Scrapless. In 2020, they became the Innovation and Business Development Manager at Flash Forest, and in 2021, they became an Impact Ventures Mentor at entrepreneurship@UBC.

Marc Apduhan, EIT, obtained their High School Diploma from Queen Elizabeth Secondary School in 2012. In 2013, they began their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Chemical and Biological Engineering at The University of British Columbia, which they completed in 2017. In 2014, they obtained their Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification from WorkSafeBC in August, and their Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C certification from the Canadian Red Cross in November.
