Sheaza Ahmed has an extensive work experience in the field of plant science, research, and development. In 2022, they began working as the Director of Research & Development - Plant Science for Flash Forest. From 2017 to 2022, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Wayne State University, where they demonstrated the ability to quickly grasp information, initiated the first human study of the lab, and collaborated on two projects. From 2012 to 2017, they held several roles at Bowling Green State University, including Lab Manager, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Student Mentor, Graduate Research Assistant, and President of the India Student Association. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Research Scientist at Eminent Biosciences, where they formalized a new analytical approach, performed different activities as a group, and demonstrated the ability to achieve results.
Sheaza Ahmed received a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from Softvision Institute of Technology & Science, Vijay Nagar, Indore in 2008. Sheaza then went on to receive a Master's Degree in the same field from the same institute in 2010. Sheaza Ahmed then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Bowling Green State University, which they completed in 2017.
