Aric Caley

Aric Caley has a strong background in software development, with experience in various roles and industries. Aric began their career in 2007 as a Web Developer at Fonality, where they worked on dashboard screens and backend code for an open-source VOIP system. In 2009, they joined after10studios as a Project Manager and Technical Lead, managing the development of mobile apps and backend support services for clients such as NYU.

From 2011 to 2013, Aric worked as a Developer at Metagenics, where they helped develop co-branded e-commerce sites using PHP, MySQL, and the Zend framework. Aric then transitioned to a Software Engineer role at Illuminate Education, Inc., working on educational software and utilizing HTML, PHP, Zend Framework, and JavaScript.

In 2014, Aric worked as a Software Developer at Eagle Software, focusing on VB.NET and ASP.NET programming. Aric then moved to Lender411.com, where they served as a Full Stack Lead Developer, redesigning and developing the Loanzify mobile application.

From 2015 to 2018, Aric was a Senior Software Developer at Metagenics, specializing in mobile application development, full-stack (LAMP) software development, and database design. Aric also worked as a Contract Developer at Local Lawyer during this time, developing HTML5 mobile applications for Android, iOS, and PWA platforms.

Since 2018, Aric has been a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at UpdatePromise, where they have been responsible for developing multiple applications using Angular frameworks and implementing architectural changes. Aric has also been involved in the migration of apps from Angular 5 to newer versions. Throughout their career, Aric has demonstrated expertise in various technologies such as Angular, Ionic, PHP, MySQL, and Git.

Aric Caley attended Cypress College from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies. During their time at the college, they also focused on English and writing as part of their field of study.
