Milain Fayulu has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 as an U18 Academy League Striker for IMG Academy. In 2010, they were an Energy Analyst Intern for the Ministère des Affaires étrangères français and a Retail Banking Intern for Ecobank Transnational Incorporated. In 2011, they were an Accounting Intern for Total. In 2012, they were a Finance Intern for the Democratic National Committee and a Treasury Analyst for Citi. Milain then moved into a Trade & Treasury Solutions Analyst role for Citi in 2013. In 2015, they founded Eben, and in 2018, they became Co-Founder of Flashstay. Milain Fayulu is currently the Founder of Congo Clothing Company, a role they began in 2020.

Milain Fayulu has a diverse education history. Milain obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of Miami in 2015. Milain then studied abroad at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2012. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Political Science and Government at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
