Amanda Opp currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Utility Arborist Association and has been with Flathead Electric Cooperative, Inc. since October 2011, where Amanda holds the position of Integrated Services Manager, overseeing various departments including Warehouse, Vegetation Management, Facilities, and Security, as well as Meter Services. Previous roles at Flathead Electric include Right of Way Supervisor and Geographic Information System Specialist, focusing on the development of ArcGIS Online and Collector for field data collection. Amanda also functions as a facilitator for UVM Certificate Programs at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Montana Technological University and additional certifications in Utility Vegetation Management and the NRECA MIP Select Program, Amanda brings a comprehensive background in both engineering and utility management. Prior experience includes roles as a Lead Teller at Glacier Bancorp, Inc., and as a Civil Engineer with the US Forest Service.

Flathead Electric Cooperative, Inc., was established in 1937 to bring electric service to rural areas of the Flathead Valley. It has since grown from a small company serving a handful of rural homes and farms into the largest electric cooperative in Montana, serving over 50,000 rural and urban residential, commercial, and industrial members. Flathead Electric is proud to be a locally owned and operated cooperative run for the benefit of our member/owners.
