James Peterson

James Peterson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. James started their career at Smartshop.com as a Perl Programmer, where they developed text-based scripts and delegated tasks to department members. James then worked at SEICCS as a Customer Care Specialist, providing technical support and training to clients.

In 2006, James joined PartsLogistics.com as an IT & Systems Administrator, where they performed systems administration, web development, and database management. James also implemented and administered a VPN network and managed email and DNS systems.

From 2013 to 2019, James worked at FBS, Creators of Flexmls, as a Software Developer. Here, they maintained and developed applications for data mining and migration, and handled information manipulation between different database environments.

In 2019, James joined Callisto Media as a Data Engineer, where they worked on ETL data transformation using C++ and ChaiScript with MySQL and Google Cloud Storage. James was a fully remote employee during this time.

Most recently, in 2021, James joined Flatirons Digital Innovations as a Software Engineer.

In addition to their professional experience, James also worked as the Owner of EIP LLC since 2016. James developed the Agave Home Automation app for the ISY by Universal Devices and maintained both native apps for Android and iOS platforms.

James Peterson attended North Dakota State University from 2002 to 2005, where they studied Computer Science. Following that, they pursued their education at Minnesota State University Moorhead from 2007 to 2013, majoring in Computer Information Technology with a specialization in Computer Science.
