Cassandra Nevins

Cassandra Nevins has a diverse work experience in human resources. Cassandra started their career in 1989 at PepsiCo, where they held various roles in human resources until 2004. Cassandra then moved to Quaker Oats, where they continued to work in human resources, focusing on labor relations, talent management, compliance with employment law, and recruitment. In 2000, they joined The Quaker Oats Company (PepsiCo) as a Human Resources Manager, responsible for all HR functions in a unionized Gatorade manufacturing and distribution facility, as well as leading collective bargaining negotiations. Since 2014, they have been working at Fleenor Paper Company, initially as the Director of Human Resources and currently as the Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, they oversee all HR functions for the company, including employee relations, talent management, recruitment, compensation, strategic planning, and employment law compliance.

Cassandra Nevins attended the University of Redlands from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. Cassandra also holds additional certifications including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HRCI, obtained in June 2021, and SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, obtained in March 2015. Furthermore, they acquired the SHRM-SCP certification in March 2015 and the Senior Professional Human Resources SPHR certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute in September 2014.
